The Vero FC Boys Program is designed to provide one of the highest levels of player development and competitive opportunity for committed athletes across North Alabama and the surrounding region.
Our focus is on developing complete players, technically strong, tactically intelligent, physically prepared, and mentally resilient, within a professional environment led by licensed and experienced coaches.
Through a structured long-term development model, Vero FC provides a clear pathway toward elite regional and national competition while helping prepare players for future high school, collegiate, and advanced playing opportunities.
MLS NEXT Academy Division (AD)
School-Year Player Model
Beginning with the 2026-2027 season, Vero FC will compete within the MLS NEXT Academy Division platform using the new school-year age grouping model (August 1 - July 31).
The MLS NEXT Academy Division was created to provide:
- High-level regional and national competition
- Professional developmental standards
- Showcase and identification opportunities
- A manageable travel model for families
- The ability for players to continue participating in high school soccer
For families across North Alabama, this creates a unique opportunity to access a nationally recognized developmental platform closer to home.
