Heritage Park is a 72-acre facility that truly offers something for everyone. Team sports thrive at the park's award-winning baseball and softball complex, which was named Facility of the Year in 2014 by the United States Specialty Sports Association. The park holds more than forty travel baseball and softball tournaments annually, bringing tens of thousands of visitors and millions of dollars in economic impact to Cullman and the surrounding areas.

The Madison Blaze is proud to be back in Madison. All tryouts and practices will be in Madison going forward. Exact locations will be announced soon.

Vero FC – Weather Policy

Player safety is our priority. Vero FC follows nationally recognized guidelines for managing lightning, storms, and unsafe field conditions. Decisions are made with caution and communicated as quickly as possible.

Lightning & Thunder

• All activities stop immediately if lightning is detected within 10 miles or if thunder is heard.
• Players and families must return to vehicles or a secure indoor area.
• Activities may resume only after 30 minutes have passed from the last lightning strike or thunder.

Rain, Storms & High Winds

Training may continue in light rain as long as conditions remain safe.

Activities may be delayed or adjusted if:

• Heavy rain creates unsafe field conditions
• High winds present safety concerns
• Facilities or complexes close fields

Field Conditions

If fields become unsafe due to weather or surface issues, sessions may be moved, adjusted, or postponed at the discretion of coaches and directors.

Communication

Families will be notified through team communication channels as soon as decisions are made.

Rapidly changing conditions may require last-minute updates.

Coach & Staff Discretion

Coaches and directors may modify or end sessions early if conditions become unsafe or if a player shows signs of distress.

Parent Choice

Parents may always choose to keep their player home if they feel conditions are unsafe or unsuitable for their child — with no penalty.
